Speakers of International Conference on future medication pledge to take multi dimensional steps for improving public health through scientific innovations
Speakers of the three day International conference on Future Medication highlighted the role of Medical and Health Sciences for improving the Public Health which depends on scientific innovations.
The International conference was organized by the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Sargodha with the theme of “Challenges to Health for all: Medical Updates and innovations”.
Medical experts from various discipline like physicians, clinicians, general surgeons, pediatricians, obstetricians & gynecologists, urologists, ophthalmologists, orthopedic surgeons, pathologists, laboratory scientists/technologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists and research scholars across the world including London, Manchester, Northampton, Aberdeen, Nepal and United Arab Emirates (UAE) shared their ideas, expert opinions, research studies and articles to disperse greater acquaintance of latest trends in the field of Medical and Allied Health Sciences.
The Vice Chancellor (UoS) Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed was the Chief Guest of inaugural ceremony while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sargodha Liaqat Ali Chatha was also present as a guest.
The Vice chancellor Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed while addressing the audiences avowed that Higher Education Institutions like Universities are not only the places for delivering knowledge and conducting research for innovations but it has to play a significant role in economic and social progress of the society and country.
There is modernization in all the fields due to the changing world scenario and rapid progress of medical field where the treatment of diseases are being done by modern technologies, he added.
Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed further added that every parent has the desire for their child to achieve higher positions in medical education and to become doctor who rated medical and health sciences fields in respect of merit and education.
The Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha (UoS) Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed acknowledged the esteemed participation of national and international speakers in First International Conference on Future Medication. He praised the Dean Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Dr. M. Zahorr-ul-Hassan Dogar and the Principal Sargodha Medical College, Dr. Humaira Akram and their team for organizing this informative event. He also presented memorial shields and souvenir amongtheguests.
The vice chancellor addressed the audience that no one could have imagined the extraordinary evolution of science and technology over the past three decades.
He maintained that International conference was held for the purpose of advancing the achievements in medical and health sciences, encouraging research, providing the necessary communication to progress will help to find important applications in the field of health science and it will open the new door of exposures for our students. The conference will prove to be an inspiration for our forthcoming young researchers who are about to pick out their future course of research, he added.
Deputy commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha said that the Government of Punjab is trying to provide quality services in health care sector on priority.
The Dean Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (UoS) Dr. M. Zahoor-Ul-Hassan dogar said that the basic aim of this international conference was to cope with challenges faced in medical field and health sciences fields in modern technological era.
Large numbers of International and National speakers presented their research findings and reports on clinical practices related to medical and health sciences disciplines during the conference for sharing their expertise with young faculty, medical and health sciences students, research scholars and the public.
The Principal Sargodha Medical College, Dr Humaira Akram expressed that national and international renowned Medical experts have shared their clinical experience and research findings, and discuss insightful sessions for medical education. She showed gratitude to all the guest speakers across the globe on their participation. She also pay thanks to the conference participants in making this event very informative, enjoyable and successful.
It is pertinent to be mentioned this was the First International Conference on Future Medicine in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan and the Punjab Higher Education Commission, Lahore by the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Sargodha with an overarching aim of value addition to the field of medical science.
