UoS Honors Staff, Awards 21 Umrah Tickets at Annual Dinner

The University of Sargodha (UoS) hosted Annual Dinner in honor of employees from Grade 1 to 16, to celebrate their services and acknowledging outstanding performance across various administrative and academic units.
During the ceremony, 21 employees were selected through a lucky draw to receive Umrah tickets, while high-performing staff members up to Grade 16 were honored with the prestigious Employee of the Year 2025 award and recognition prizes in multiple categories.
The ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor UoS, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas as Chief Guest along with distinguished Guests of Honor Vice Chancellors, including Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali (University of Agriculture), Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad (Ghazi University), Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar (University of Education Lahore), Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar (Thal University Bhakkar), Prof. Dr. Rafia Mumtaz (Kohsar University Murree), and Prof. Dr. Faheem Aftab (University of Jhang). Pro Vice Chancellor UoS, Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, Controller Examinations Dr. Rehana Ilyas, as well as deans, directors, heads of academic and administrative units also attended the event.
In his Address, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas underscored that hardworking, capable, and content employees constitute the most valuable asset of any institution. He remarked that employees who serve with “honesty, diligence, and consistency” set meaningful benchmarks for others to follow. 
He expressed strong appreciation for the dedication of the University's staff, noting that their collective efforts have elevated the university to the ranks of the country’s leading higher education institutions. Congratulating the award recipients, he encouraged them to maintain the same level of commitment and continue contributing to the institution’s progress.
Vice Chancellor also briefed the guests on ongoing academic, research, and infrastructural developments at the university. The distinguished guests lauded Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas for his visionary leadership and dedication to elevating UoS’s national and international stature, noting his role in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that has strengthened the university’s academic and administrative excellence.
A special prayer led by Prof. Dr. Ferozuddin Shah was offered for the late Tanveer Ahmed Assistant Department of Biotechnology, and other university staff members who recently passed away.
The ceremony concluded with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas presenting souvenirs to the distinguished guests.
