Students who completed the National Youth Leadership Programme (NYLP) were awarded certificates at a ceremony jointly organised by the Pakistan Institute of China Studies (PICS) and the Confucius Institute at the University of Sargodha in collaboration with NYLP.
The ceremony was held to acknowledge the achievements of participants who completed a series of leadership development activities, training sessions and mentorship engagements designed to enhance their personal and professional capacities.
Speaking at the event, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, who attended as the chief guest, distributed certificates among the participants and congratulated them on completing the programme. He said initiatives aimed at developing leadership qualities among young people were essential for preparing future professionals and responsible citizens capable of contributing to national development.
He also appreciated the collaborative efforts of PICS, the Confucius Institute and NYLP for providing students with opportunities to strengthen their leadership, communication and decision-making skills through structured learning and mentorship.
Organisers said the National Youth Leadership Programme seeks to equip young people with practical leadership competencies, encourage civic engagement and support their personal and professional growth. The programme offers participants opportunities to engage in interactive learning activities and mentorship experiences aimed at nurturing future leaders.
