Vice Chancellor UoS Seeks National Support for Flood-Affected Families

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas visited the flood relief camp established at the university to collect donations for flood-affected families.
He was accompanied by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, Director MFKNBS Dr. Irfan Shehzad, Director Students Affairs Dr. Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Director Sports Mehar Ahmad Khan Haral, Chief Security Officer Col. (R) Ishtiaq Ahmad, Deans and Chairpersons of the teaching departments.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor, faculty members, staff, and students came forward with generous contributions. The donations will be distributed among the Flood Victims.
Speaking to volunteers, the Vice Chancellor stated that in this difficult time, we stand firmly with the Flood victims and will not rest until the last affected family safely returns to their home.”
He further underscored that this initiative is not merely a relief effort, but a collective moral responsibility. The suffering of the flood victims is shared by all of us, and it is our duty to support them until their lives are restored, he concluded.
Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan encouraged students and faculty members to actively participate in this noble cause by contributing generously, emphasizing that every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the flood-affected families.
